Implementation

The implementation of iBillMe Gateway is a simple process. Our platform have been built to handle any payment request.

First you will need to create these three pages and send their corresponding URLs to iBillMe:

  1. Success_url page.
  2. Failure_url page
  3. Notify_url page

You can assign the three pages custom names if you want, just ensure they are created because iBillMe will need those pages for payment notification.

Pages Explained:

  1. Success_url page:
    • For every successful transaction carried on iBillMe, a redirection takes place and the success page is what is displayed to the user on the client-side (though iBillMe also echoes the status of transaction on its platform). This page is a custom page and you can determine what the user should see after a successful transaction.
  2. Failure_url page:
    • For every failed transaction carried on iBillMe, a redirection takes place and the failure page is what is displayed to the user on the client-side (though iBillMe also echoes the status of transaction on its platform). This page is a custom page and you can determine what the user should see after a failed transaction.
  3. Notify_url page / Instant Payment Notification (IPN) Page:
    • This is the page that is configured to instantly notify merchants about transaction events, such as:
      • Payments received
      • Update their inventory Database
      • Email a transaction confirmation
      • Enable download of digital media
      • eCheck payments and related pending, completed, or denied status events
      • Update their customer list
      • Email a shipping notification.
